Welcome! Looking for a quiet place for renewal and contemplation? Perhaps you need meeting rooms and overnight accommodations for a business staff retreat or family reunion. Consider coming to Holy Spirit Center.
We offer a variety of conference facilities located on twenty wooded acres in the foothills of Alaska’s Chugach Mountains.
Our grounds are the first and only registered Saint Kateri Habitat in Alaska~
Let our friendly staff help you plan your next gathering here at the Holy Spirit Center. We invite you to come walk along our trails, enjoy the tranquility of chapels, and find enlightenment amid the natural beauty of Alaska.
Guests of all religious traditions are welcome at this Alaskan spirituality center directed by the Archdiocese of Anchorage - Juneau.
Located in the foothills overlooking Anchorage, it is surrounded by panoramic views of Cook Inlet, Mt. McKinley, and the Alaska Mountain range.
SPIRITUAL
Resurrection Chapel seats 150 people and offers a stunning view of Anchorage and the surrounding landscape, providing a beautiful setting for prayer and solitude.
Our apologies~ we do not accommodate Weddings.
Small Chapel, in the main house, seats 40 people and is also a wonderful location for retreat sessions.
Our Prayer Room, in the main house, is available by appointment for individuals wishing to have private reflection.
Our grounds include a Stations of the Cross Hiking Trail, Holy Spirit Center Shrine, Kateri Garden, Mary Grotto, Little Free Catholic Library, and Anchorage ROCKS scavenger hunt.
DINING HALL
Our Dining Hall will accommodate 50 people for delicious meals provided by our very capable caterer. We also have a private kitchen and dining room for individuals and small groups.
Our Dining Hall is being fully remodeled in Fall Winter of 2024/2025
ACCOMMODATIONS
Effective August 1, 2024 we have 39 Total beds onsite; 11 Full/Queen and 28 Twin.
Each bedroom has either a full bed or two twin beds with shared bathrooms in the hallway.
Our cabins onsite are no longer available to rent.

Loyola Conference room $375/day
Manresa Conference room $300/day
Library $200/day Dining Hall Event Space $150 half day/ $300/day
Overnight Accommodations: (single occupancy) $85/night
(double occupancy) $130/night
Reduced rates apply for Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau groups.
Our rental facilities are available year-round to organizations, businesses, and individuals whose purposes are compatible with our mission and ministry. A cleaning fee applies to large groups effective July 1, 2023 calculated at 15% of total bill.

Loyola
Loyola Conference room will seat up to 70 people and has overnight accommodation for up to 12 guests above. Large gatherings and lectures will feel right at home in the large classroom style conference space with large windows in the rear facing Resurrection Chapel and the Stations of the Cross Trail. Our Little Free Library is right at the entryway of this space. Loyola is perfect for large conferences.
Manresa
Manresa Conference room will seat up to 40 people and has overnight accommodation for up to 10 guests above. Whether a small gathering, onsite class, family reunion, or private retreat Manresa provides a throwback to the 1970’s.
Onsite Catering Options
We have our onsite caterer Rudy’s Catering serving groups of 15 or more with quality menu selections such as Baron of Beef with Rosemary Potatoes and the ever popular Fish Fry! Rudy’s Catering has menu options for Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers, Dinner, and Desserts
Pre Approved Outside Caterers Welcome
We are pleased to host Dianne’s Wild Fork, Sweet Caribou, Peppercini’s, and Downtown Hope Soup Kitchen.
Our outside caterer’s provide boxed lunches and buffet options for lunch and dinner for those on a budget or with less than 15 participants.
Prayer Room
Private Reflection and Prayer is welcome in our Prayer Room. Leave a Prayer request and our onsite or visiting Clergy and Religious will pray for you.
Small Chapel
Prayer and/or Religious Service in the Main House Small Chapel is available to all who visit our site.
Library
Perfect for Small Groups and Meetings our Library is the largest Catholic library in Alaska.
